Mrs. Đào Phượng Thúy has had more than 20 years working experiences in accounting, finance, banking, consulting and training areas. Since 2003, She has successfully conducted many training programs and consultancy projects in the field of financial management and restructuring. She has been leading the project team at PTI where she is managing director to successfully accomplish the role as Finance Director, raising funds in form of debt and equity, lowering financial cost, restructuring and developing long term strategy for companies in various industries: from petroleum, toy production, film production, fashion, paper & printing, rice export, trading, construction to property investment. She has also led the consultant team to develop business plans, long term financial plans, conduct valuation and prepare investment term sheet for companies in fashion, property, media and food industries. Since 2006, She has been the project leader to advise a number of banks in Singapore to carry out the bill discounting without recourse transactions for a leading rice exporter in Vietnam with aggregate volume of nearly USD 300 million . In the meantime, she advised a big branch of a state owned bank to develop marketing strategy, assisting this branch in attracting deposit and loan of thousands billion VND.Mrs.Thuy has also confirmed her position as professional facilitator in various training workshops for banks and corporates such as practical financial analysis for banks ( Vietcombank, Habubank..), corporate valuation ( for Vietnam Airline and PVI), practical finance director training program…. She was invited by IBC Asia in Singapore to present the topic “ trade finance for deals in Vietnam with special focus on Oil and Gas Industry” in the conference “ Structured Trade/Commodity Finance and Risk Management in Asia – Middle East” in 2004 in Malaysia. In August 2008, she was invited by CPI in Singapore to present the topic “optimizing working capital and effective receivable management in Vietnam” in the conference “ financial accounting and treasury management in Vietnam” organized by CPI and CMA in Singapore.
Before 2003, she used to be Senior Relationship manager, Head of Trade Finance of Deutsche Bank, Senior Credit and Business Banking Officer for ANZ and senior accountant for BP PETCO and Petrolimex.
Mrs. Thuy has MBA from Henley (UK).
